It is reported that Zhejiang Lingyuan Brain-Computer Technology Co., Ltd. was incubated and nurtured by Hangzhou Bay Automotive College of Ningbo Institute of Technology. It focuses on products and solutions related to neuro-rehabilitation, intelligent assistive devices, human-computer interaction, and health monitoring, and provides products and solutions for applications such as medical care, elderly care, and home assistance.
The R&D trial production center that was put into operation this time is equipped with 3D printers, laser welding machines and other equipment, which has significantly improved the efficiency of R&D. “It only takes 1 hour to produce a small sample prototype, and a large sample can be completed within 5 to 8 hours,” said Wu Linjun, the chief operating officer of Lingyuan Brain Machine.

The products of Lingyuan Brain Machine are available for both consumer and medical use. The consumer products include mind-controlled popcorn machine, mind-controlled car, electromyography collector, etc. Compared with the highly entertaining consumer products, the medical-grade products such as hand rehabilitation training device, brain-controlled wheelchair, and bionic mechanical robot are the core business areas that Lingyuan Brain Machine has focused on. Take the hand rehabilitation training device as an example. This product weighs only 540 grams and users can wear it and train in any environment. “Many rehabilitation devices are bulky and expensive, and patients can only use them in hospitals. We hope to break this limitation,” said Yu Jinxu, the founder of Lingyuan Brain Machine.

Lingyuan Brain Machine has also established a cooperation with Ningbo Special Education Center School, jointly exploring the application value of brain-machine interfaces in the early screening, precise diagnosis, and personalized education of autism. It aims to light up a lamp for “the children like stars”. Its “Electroencephalogram Biofeedback Training System” can screen autistic children through brain waves, and has developed intelligent games such as “Mind Pulling Rope”, “Jungle Adventure”, and “Archery Expert”, helping children train their concentration through play.

This year, we have also been collaborating with Yanshan University to develop a 64-channel brainwave intelligent rehabilitation device, which can achieve an 90% recognition accuracy. Yu Jinxu stated. Currently, Lingyuan Brain Machine has won the top ten innovative achievements in the World Robotics Competition for three consecutive years. It has received relevant orders from countries such as India and Australia, as well as domestic industry partners. The production schedule has been extended to the second half of the year.
