The turbine worm type traction machine turbine mostly adopts the wear resistant bronze, the worm uses the surface carburized and quenched alloy steel, the worm gearing tooth surface sliding larger, the tooth surface contact time is long, and the friction and wear condition is prominent. Therefore, no matter what kind of turbine worm drive, there are extreme pressure and anti-wear problems.
 
Similarly, bevel gear and planetary gear tractors also have extreme pressure and anti wear problems. In addition, the oil used for tractors should have good fluidity at low temperature and good oxidation stability and thermal stability at high temperature. Therefore, the reducer gear box with tooth traction machine usually chooses the turbine worm gear oil with the viscosity of VG320 and VG460, and this kind of lubricating oil can also be used as the lubrication of the escalator chain. The performance of anti-wear and lubrication has been greatly improved. It forms a very strong oil film on the metal surface and adheres to the metal surface for a long time. It can effectively reduce the friction between metals, so that the gear can get good lubrication and protection immediately when starting. Gear lubricating oil has excellent water resistance, oxidation resistance and strong adhesion. It can improve the tightness of gear box (worm gear box) and reduce oil leakage.
 
For the oil of the gearbox of the traction machine, the temperature of the machine parts and bearing of the general elevator gear box should be less than 60 degrees C, and the oil temperature in the chassis should not exceed 85 degrees C. The oil should be used according to the different models and functions of the elevator, and the oil, oil temperature and oil leakage should be paid attention to.
